ACS37600: 400kHz, High-Precision Linear Sensor IC with Vref and Overcurrent Fault

8-Pin-TSSOP-LU-Package, used in the ACS37612 coreless differential current sensor IC

Description

Packaging

The ACS37600 is a Hall-based linear sensor available in either a surface mounted TSSOP8 (LU) or 4-pin SIP (OK) packages developed for core-based current sensing applications.

The 400 kHz bandwidth and high accuracy signal path with low noise make it suitable for demanding industrial applications. The OK package variant has a reference voltage pin for full control over offset levels, and the LU package variant has a reference voltage pin, along with an overcurrent fault pin for fast overcurrent detection for safety applications.

The wide sensitivity range, programmable bandwidth (100 kHz to 400 kHz) and programmable sensitivity over temperature (for concentrator core drift compensation) enables users to rapidly develop flexible, highly programmable current sensing modules all with one IC.

  • User programmable bandwidth (100 to 400 kHz)
  • Very fast response time (<1.25 μs typ.)
  • User programmable, bidirectional reference pin (VREF)
  • User-programmable overcurrent fault (OCF)
  • User-programmable sensitivity over temperature for ferromagnetic core drift compensation
